Few Miami natives can boast that they “Grew up on a Farm.” Olivia is one of them. Her grandfather began growing Bean Sprouts in 1938, and passed his passion and knowledge down to her father, Manny Wong, who continued the tradition by launching Fullei Fresh over 40 years ago. Now one of the largest sprout growers in the United States and a pioneer in Food Safety, Miami’s first and largest indoor farm is where Olivia spent her summers learning innovative hydroponic and indoor farming techniques and business acumen.
Upon graduating from the University of Miami, a life-long love of photography and film lead Olivia to the Production Industry as a Location Scout and Manager. There, she honed skills like planning, negotiation and running a small business and brought those skills back home to Fullei Fresh.
From 2010-2018, Olivia was the Owner/CEO of Fullei Specialty, an Asian produce distribution company. Throughout that tenure, Olivia also guided Fullei Fresh in sales and branding, and oversaw the financials and operations. With a strong intrinsic drive toward entrepreneurship, Olivia is now ready to take her expertise and put it in a box. She looks forward to a day when food does not have to travel the globe, and we can get all of the fresh produce that we need from urban farms in our own backyard. And she knows that Box Greens can help us all to fulfill that dream.
